Information
This 5-day workshop comprises 5 classes Skinner Releasing and investigates how the foundational releasing principles can inspire the entry into improvising and making dances. Each day starts with a SRT class that opens our senses and imagination and allows us to expand the availability and variety of our dancing.
Combining the releasing principles of the morning class with awareness of time, space and other compositional aspects forms the guideline for improvisational work in the afternoon.
As we keep navigating between inner and outer awareness, we follow the constant flow of action, inspiration and imagination. This will lead into solos, duets and group improvisations in which we simultaneously ‘read’ and create the composition that emerges in the moment. Read more
