Mornings: Cléo Tabakian – Skinner Releasing Technique
Skinner Releasing is an improvised dance method, placing dynamic imagination at the heart of learning. Poetic images awaken, arouse, alter, spontaneous movement.
Afternoons: Susy Chetteau – Instant composition
Nourished by the morning practice, we will experiment with the fundamental principles of instant composition. Through choreographic devices, notions of anatomy and a focus on breathing.
Cléo is a dancer, designer and teacher. Graduated from the Laban Conservatoire of Dance in London in 2018, her dance dialogues with somatic practices and martial arts. Certified teacher in Skinner Releasing Technique. Graduated from the Beaux-Arts de Paris, her graphic work offers baroque images of the physical self. In a book in progress, Movement Speculation, her drawings are assembled with fragments of a poem composing what she calls an Anatomy of Transformation.
Susy is passionate about movement and words. Trained in the pedagogy of Françoise and Dominique Dupuy. She obtained the DE in dance in 2015. She trained in Functional Analysis of the Body in Danced Movement (AFCMD) to deepen her understanding of the body and question the ways of putting bodies in a state of dance. Her choreographic research shapes the movement by drawing inspiration from texts, photographs, plastic works. The imagination is a keystone, allowing the invisible to shape the body.
