Information
Newly certified Skinner Releasing Introductory Teacher Georgia Paizi is curating Guts | Eyes | Bones | Boundaries (GEBB), a 9-month dance and movement course in Athens, Greece, for its sixth year. GEBB 2025-26 is informed by the Skinner Releasing Technique (SRT) approach to dance pedagogy and creative practice, including 1-15 introductory classes taught by certified SRT teachers Vassiliki Tsagkari, Danfi Stefanou, and Georgia Paizi.
GEBB offers a unique opportunity for young and mid-career artists to deepen their embodied research, immerse themselves in the poetic environments of experiential anatomy, and explore connections between organic learning pedagogies, performing practices, relational choreography, and theory.
GEBB provides an empowering environment of nurturing continuity for those taking a break from formal learning, preparing their BA, MA, or PhD proposal, aspiring to create a journal-portfolio, or navigating a self-directed practice.
GEBB welcomes performing, mixed-media, and visual arts trainees and professionals, as well as hands-on practitioners interested in grounding their practices in the fields of movement, dance, consent, and self-care practices for the performing arts (somatics).
Please find the application form for GEBB 2025-26 on www.cochleares.come/oneyearcourse. Skinner Releasing Technique community members who mention they learned about GEBB through SRN media receive a 20% discount on their tuition fees.
