In late November a number of us from the SRT community gathered to celebrate our dear friend and dancer Colin McLean’s 90th birthday celebrations. We were invited to join him in a dance classes with Amici, an integrated dance company that Colin has been involved for many decades.
We danced, laughed, with many there and then celebrated with drinks and cakes and several rounds of singing Happy Birthday in the bar of the Lyric Theatre in London.
Colin has been dancing for over 30 years or so, performing internationally with many choreographers. His fascination with SRT has taken him to workshops in Seattle, Istanbul and London ( where he constantly connects to his releasing process ) and is an inspiration to us all.
We wish him many more years of dancing.
